1. Purpose

These terms of sale (the "Terms of Sale") apply to the paid AgoraQuiz Plus subscription, taken out by a teacher or a school (the "Customer") from the teacher app. They supplement the terms of use, which also apply.

The AgoraQuiz service is provided by Gabriel FRANCK, sole trader, SIRET 878 007 343 00014, VAT number FR39878007343, 182 Chemin de la Garoussière, 30120 Le Vigan, France, contact@agoraquiz.education, +33 6 28 51 96 91 ("AgoraQuiz").

2. Sale and payment

Subscriptions are sold by AgoraQuiz, which issues the invoices. Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland), a licensed payment service provider: AgoraQuiz never has access to the Customer's bank card data.

Subscriptions taken out on the former version of AgoraQuiz (agora-quiz.education) before 1 November 2026 remain sold and billed, until they end, by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, as reseller ("merchant of record"), under its buyer terms.

3. Plans and prices

AgoraQuiz Plus removes the limits of the free plan. Its content is described on the Pricing section and in the app at the time of subscription. Two plans are offered:

  • monthly: €9.99 per month;
  • yearly: €49.99 per year.

Prices include all taxes. VAT is applied at the rate due in the Customer's country: the final price and the VAT amount are shown before payment and appear on the invoice. A business Customer established in another European Union country who provides a valid EU VAT number is invoiced without VAT (reverse charge). AgoraQuiz may change its prices; a price change only applies from the next renewal, after informing the Customer by email at least 30 days in advance.

4. Free trial

A new teacher account gets a 14-day free trial of AgoraQuiz Plus, with no payment method required. At the end of the trial, the account automatically returns to the free plan: no subscription starts and nothing is charged unless the Customer subscribes. Data is kept; if the account exceeds the limits of the free plan, its groups are archived and the Customer reactivates the ones they keep. The Customer can subscribe at any time during the trial: the subscription then starts immediately and the first period is charged on the day of subscription. Only one trial is granted per Customer.

5. Order and payment

The Customer subscribes from the teacher app ("Upgrade to AgoraQuiz Plus"), chooses a plan, and is then directed to Stripe's secure payment page, where they enter their billing address and, where applicable, their VAT number. Before confirming, they can check their order and total price. The order is confirmed by email, with the invoice.

Payment is made by bank card or by the other methods offered on the payment page. It is charged at the start of each period (month or year). If a payment fails, new attempts may be made over a few days; without payment, the subscription is suspended and the account returns to the free plan, without any loss of data.

Invoices are sent by email and remain available from the teacher app ("Manage my subscription").

6. Duration, renewal and cancellation

The subscription is taken out for one month or one year, and renews automatically for the same duration unless cancelled. For the yearly plan, a consumer Customer is informed by email, between one and three months before the renewal, of the possibility of not renewing it (article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code).

The Customer can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, from the teacher app ("Manage my subscription" section), or by writing to contact@agoraquiz.education. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, already paid: AgoraQuiz Plus remains available until that date, then the account goes back to the free plan, without losing any data. Unless otherwise provided by law (article 7), the current period is not refunded.

Deleting the teacher account cancels the subscription immediately, with no refund for the current period.

7. Right of withdrawal

A consumer Customer has 14 days from taking out the paid subscription to withdraw, without giving any reason (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). The free trial, which commits the Customer to nothing, does not start this period.

To withdraw, the Customer sends a clear statement to contact@agoraquiz.education, specifying the email address of their account, for example: "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the AgoraQuiz Plus subscription contract taken out on [date]." They can also use the model form below.

By subscribing, the Customer requests that the service start immediately, during the withdrawal period. In the event of withdrawal, they are refunded by AgoraQuiz, using the same payment method, at the latest 14 days after their request is received, minus an amount proportional to the time during which AgoraQuiz Plus was provided until the withdrawal (article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code).

The right of withdrawal does not apply to a professional Customer (a school, or a teacher buying for the needs of their professional activity), except in the cases provided for by law.

Withdrawal form (only fill in and send it if you wish to withdraw):

To Gabriel FRANCK (AgoraQuiz), 182 Chemin de la Garoussière, 30120 Le Vigan, France, contact@agoraquiz.education: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: AgoraQuiz Plus subscription, taken out on [date], with the account [email address]. Name of consumer: [name]. Address of consumer: [address]. Date: [date]. Signature (only if this form is notified on paper).

AgoraQuiz must provide a service that complies with the contract and is liable for lack of conformity that appears during the subscription, under the conditions of articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code. In the event of a defect, a consumer Customer can ask for the service to be brought into conformity or, failing that, for a price reduction or the termination of the contract. They just need to contact AgoraQuiz at contact@agoraquiz.education.

If AgoraQuiz removes an essential feature of AgoraQuiz Plus during a subscription, the Customer is informed and can cancel their subscription with a refund of the remaining period.

9. Liability

The liability of AgoraQuiz is that provided for by the terms of use and by law. Towards a professional Customer, it is limited to direct and foreseeable damage, and to the amount paid by the Customer for the last twelve months of subscription.

10. Mediation and disputes

In the event of a complaint, the Customer first contacts AgoraQuiz at contact@agoraquiz.education. An answer is given within 15 days.

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. A consumer keeps the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where they habitually reside. Failing an amicable solution, the dispute is brought before the competent courts. A consumer Customer can, at their choice, bring the matter before the court of the place where they lived when subscribing or of the place where the damage occurred. For a professional Customer, jurisdiction is given to the courts within the jurisdiction of the Nîmes Court of Appeal.
